Alba Restaurant & Wine Bar is the epitome of Italian dining in Boulder, Colorado. After many trips to Italy's most prominent wine region, owners Rick and Susan Stein finally realized their dream of an authentic Italian restaurant with the opening of Alba. The city of Alba lies in the center the Langhe, surrounded by wine country. Langhe in the local dialect means "ridges," which link the many hillside vineyards, often shrouded in mist. These vineyards produce Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera, some of Italy's greatest wines. Alba is also known its annual truffle market, which draws visitors from throughout the world. Inspired chef Alexander Feldman draws upon his years of culinary training in Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piemonte and some of America's finest Italian restaurants to design an ever-changing seasonal menu that captures the essence of traditional cuisine. Matthew Feldman recently joined the Alba family, bringing with him a style of casual fine dining centered around hospitality. Together the brothers provide an Italian experience unique to Boulder. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a friendly dinner or a special event, Alba can accommodate any dining experience.
