Alba Restaurant & Wine Bar is the epitome of Italian dining in Boulder, Colorado. After many trips to Piemonte, Italy's most prominent wine region, owners Rick and Susan Stein finally realized their dream of an authentic Italian restaurant with the opening of Alba. The city of Alba lies in the center of the Langhe, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and villages. Langhe in the local dialect means 'ridges,' which link the many hillside vineyards, often shrouded in mist. These vineyards produce Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera, some of Italy's greatest wines. Alba is also known for its annual truffle market, which draws visitors from throughout the world.
